How to put Gluttony: Fanfiction stories on a Kindle with calibre
You can copy a Gluttony: Fanfiction story to a Kindle without using Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, add it to calibre, convert it to AZW3, and transfer it to your Kindle over USB.
What you need
Before you start, you will need:
- The Gluttony: Fanfiction story page
- A computer running Windows, macOS, or Linux
- calibre, a free e-book manager
- Your Kindle and its USB cable
WP Downloader is a free web tool and requires no installation. You also do not need a Gluttony: Fanfiction account.
A story link usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Gluttony: Fanfiction downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site and prepare the complete story.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and can be converted to AZW3 in calibre. To keep the story’s images, turn on the option to include them before downloading.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but this process uses the EPUB. It does not create MOBI or AZW3 files, so you will use calibre to make the AZW3 version.

Step 2: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre on your computer and select “Add books.” Choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
The story will appear in your calibre library. You can edit its metadata or cover before converting it, or leave them as they are.
You can also open the EPUB in calibre’s e-book viewer to check it before the transfer. The viewer includes a Read aloud feature.
Step 3: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the story in your calibre library and choose “Convert books.” Set AZW3 as the output format and start the conversion.
AZW3 is a Kindle format that you can transfer directly over USB. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF, but this guide uses AZW3.
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI files. Kindle e-readers can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB, so the AZW3 file can be transferred without going through Amazon’s service.
Step 4: Connect the Kindle by USB
Connect your Kindle to the computer with its USB cable and wait for calibre to recognize it.
Select the converted story in your calibre library, then choose “Send to device.” calibre will copy the book to the connected Kindle. After the transfer finishes, safely disconnect the Kindle and find the story in its library.
The story will be available for offline reading. You do not need to upload it through Send to Kindle or stay connected to the internet while reading.
When the story gets new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. To update the story, return to the Gluttony: Fanfiction downloader, paste its link again, and download the complete story as a new EPUB.
Add the new file to calibre, convert it to AZW3, and send it to your Kindle over USB.
