How to put a Dreame story on a Kindle with calibre
To put a Dreame story on a Kindle over USB, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then use calibre to convert the EPUB to AZW3 and send it to the Kindle.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The Dreame story’s URL
- A computer running Windows, macOS, or Linux
- The free calibre e-book manager
- Your Kindle e-reader and its USB cable

Step 1: Copy the Dreame story link
Open the story on dreame.com and copy its address from your browser. A Dreame story link looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Dreame downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects that the link is from Dreame and prepares the book.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and can be added to calibre for conversion. To keep the story’s pictures in the book, turn on the option to include images before downloading.
You do not need to sign in to download a Dreame story. WP Downloader only downloads content that your account can already read. Locked or paid chapters remain excluded unless your account has access to them, and the tool does not bypass paywalls or other access restrictions.

Step 3: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre on your computer and select Add books. Find the EPUB from WP Downloader and add it to your calibre library.
The story will appear in the book list. You can edit its metadata or cover before converting it if you want to change how it appears in your Kindle library.
Step 4: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the Dreame story in calibre and choose the conversion option. Set EPUB as the input format and AZW3 as the output format, then start the conversion.
WP Downloader does not create AZW3 or MOBI files. It provides the EPUB, which calibre can convert to a Kindle format.
AZW3 files can be copied directly to a Kindle e-reader over USB. Kindles can also open MOBI files copied over USB, although Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI. This guide uses AZW3.
Step 5: Connect your Kindle over USB
Connect the Kindle to your computer with its USB cable. After calibre recognizes it, select the converted story and choose Send to device.
Wait for the transfer to finish before disconnecting the Kindle. The Dreame story will then be available on the device for offline reading.

Read the EPUB in calibre
You can read the downloaded EPUB on your computer with calibre’s e-book viewer. The viewer also has a Read aloud feature for listening to the story on your computer.

Get newly published chapters
