Do Voracity's New Realms Stories Count Toward Apple Books Goals?

You can download a story from Voracity’s New Realms with WP Downloader, add it to Apple Books, and read it offline. PDFs count toward Apple Books Reading Goals when Include PDFs is enabled. Download a story with WP Downloader

WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. It supports complete stories from Voracity’s New Realms at voracity2.e-fic.com.

1. Open the Voracity’s New Realms downloader.
2. Copy the story URL from your browser. It should look like this:

3. Paste the link into WP Downloader.
4. Choose EPUB, which is free for everyone, or PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the finished file to your device.

WP Downloader downloads complete stories from this archive. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories.

Public stories do not require an account. You can also sign in with your Voracity’s New Realms account to download members-only stories that the account can read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It cannot bypass account requirements, locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

Add the story to Apple Books

Apple Books opens EPUB and PDF files on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Imported files appear in your Library.

On iPhone or iPad

1. Find the downloaded EPUB or PDF in the Files app or Safari’s downloads.
2. Open the file.
3. Choose Share.
4. Select Books.

Apple Books will add the story to your Library, where you can open it whenever you want to read.

On Mac

Open the Books app and drag the downloaded EPUB into it. You can also choose File, then Add to Library, and select the EPUB.

The imported story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

How Apple Books Reading Goals work

Apple Books tracks how many minutes you read each day and how many books and audiobooks you finish each year. The default daily goal is five minutes.

On an iPhone or iPad, you can change the daily goal from the Reading Now tab. On a Mac, you can change it from Home.

Downloading a story with WP Downloader does not add reading time. You must import the file and read it in the Books app.

Check whether an imported EPUB counts

Apple’s documentation does not say whether EPUB files you import yourself count toward daily reading time. Test the file in Apple Books to see how it works on your device:

1. Note today’s reading time in Apple Books.
2. Open the imported EPUB from your Library.
3. Read for a minute or two.
4. Return to your Reading Goals.
5. Check whether today’s reading time increased.

If the total rises, Apple Books counted the reading time for that EPUB. If it stays the same, Apple Books did not count the test.

Make a PDF count toward your reading goal

Reading a PDF only counts when Include PDFs is turned on.

On current versions of iOS, open Settings, choose Apps, then Books, and enable Include PDFs. On older versions, open Settings, choose Books, and enable the option there.

Open the imported PDF in Apple Books and read it there. To check the result, note today’s reading time, read for a minute or two, and see whether the total increases.
