Count Midnight Whispers Reading Toward Apple Books Goals

WP Downloader can save a Midnight Whispers story as an EPUB or PDF that you can add to Apple Books. PDFs can count toward Reading Goals when you enable a setting. Apple does not say whether EPUB files you import yourself count, so you will need to test the EPUB and check whether today’s reading time changes.

Download a Midnight Whispers story

1. Open the Midnight Whispers downloader.
2. Copy the story’s Midnight Whispers URL. It should look similar to this:

3. Paste the URL into the box.
4. Choose EPUB or PDF.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the file.

EPUB is free for everyone. Creating a PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. Apple Books can open either format.

WP Downloader saves the whole Midnight Whispers story. It cannot download a single chapter or a story list. It also cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

Add the story to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad

After downloading the file:

1. Open it from the Files app or Safari’s downloads.
2. Tap Share.
3. Choose Books.

The imported story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

If Books does not appear at first, look through the other available apps and actions in the Share menu.

Add the story to Apple Books on Mac

Open the Books app and drag the downloaded EPUB into it. You can also choose File, then Add to Library, and select the file.

The imported Midnight Whispers story will appear in your Library.

How Apple Books Reading Goals work

Apple Books tracks how many minutes you read each day and how many books and audiobooks you finish each year. The default daily goal is five minutes.

On an iPhone or iPad, you can change the daily goal from the Reading Now tab. On a Mac, change it from Home.

To test whether an imported story counts, open the file in Apple Books and read it there.

Check whether an imported EPUB counts

Apple does not document whether EPUB files you import yourself count toward daily reading time. Check the result on your device:

1. Note today’s reading time in Apple Books.
2. Open the imported Midnight Whispers EPUB.
3. Read for a minute or two.
4. Return to the Reading Goals area.
5. See whether today’s reading time increased.

If the total does not change, you can still keep and read the story in Apple Books, but that reading may not appear in your goal.

Make a Midnight Whispers PDF count

PDF reading counts toward the Apple Books reading goal only when Include PDFs is turned on.

On current versions of iOS, open Settings, then Apps, then Books, and enable Include PDFs. On older versions, open Settings, then Books, and enable the same option.

After changing the setting, open the PDF in Apple Books and read for a minute or two. Check the day’s total afterward to confirm that the time was recorded.

Choose between EPUB and PDF

Choose EPUB if you want the story in a standard ebook format. Since Apple does not say whether imported EPUBs contribute to daily reading time, use the test above if tracking the time matters to you.

Choose PDF if you want to use the Include PDFs setting that lets PDF reading count. Creating a PDF with WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.
