How to Back Up Voracity's New Realms Stories

Authors and sites can edit, unpublish, or delete stories. To keep a personal copy of a Voracity’s New Realms story, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader. The file is a snapshot of the story as it appeared when you downloaded it.

Use a clear filename and add the download date when keeping several versions. A dedicated folder can also make the files easier to find.

Keep these copies for your own reading. Do not re-upload or share downloaded stories.

Keep more than one copy

After downloading a story, copy the EPUB to another device or personal backup location.

One simple routine is:

1. Download the EPUB.
2. Give it a clear name.
3. Move it to a folder for your Voracity’s New Realms library.
4. Copy the folder to a second location.
5. Download the story again when you want later chapters or revisions.

Repeat the process whenever you want a newer snapshot of a story.

Read your backup on a phone or tablet

Save the EPUB in a folder you can reach from your device’s file browser, then open it in an app that supports EPUB files.

Manage the story with calibre

calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Select Add books in calibre and choose the downloaded EPUB. You can then:

• Store the story in your calibre library.
• Edit its metadata and cover.
• Read it in calibre’s e-book viewer.
• Use the viewer’s Read aloud feature.
• Convert the EPUB to AZW3, MOBI, or PDF.
• Send it to a connected e-reader over USB.

Keep the original EPUB if you convert it so you still have the file produced by WP Downloader.
