How to Save Backup Copies of SIYE Stories
Authors and archive sites can edit, unpublish or delete stories. WP Downloader lets you save a complete Sink Into Your Eyes story as an EPUB or PDF for your own reading. The file is a snapshot of the story at the time of download, so you can still read that version if the online copy changes or disappears.
Download a SIYE story
WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. You do not need a Sink Into Your Eyes account to download a story.
- Open the SIYE downloader.
- Find the story on siye.co.uk.
- Copy the URL from its story page. It should look like this:
https://www.siye.co.uk/siye/viewstory.php?sid=1234- Paste the URL into WP Downloader.
- Choose EPUB, which is free for everyone, or PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file.
WP Downloader downloads the whole SIYE story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories from this site. For more detailed instructions, read how to download SIYE stories.

Choose a file format
EPUB works well for reading in e-book apps because the text adjusts to different screen sizes. You can also add the file to calibre or transfer it to a compatible e-reader.
PDF uses a fixed page layout and opens in PDF readers. Downloading a PDF from WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3 or TXT files. If you need another e-book format, download the EPUB and convert it with calibre.
Store your copy
After downloading the EPUB or PDF, find it in your device’s downloads. You can rename the file and move it into a folder where you keep your personal fiction copies.
Keep downloaded stories for your own reading. Do not re-upload them or share the files with other people.
Read the story on a phone or tablet
To read an EPUB, open or import it with an e-book reading app that supports EPUB files. Once added to the app, the story is available for offline reading.
You can open a PDF with a PDF reader on your device.
Use calibre for your SIYE library
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS and Linux. Open calibre, select Add books, and choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
Once the book is in your calibre library, you can edit its metadata and cover, read it in the e-book viewer, or send it to a connected e-reader over USB. The viewer also has a Read aloud feature.

Get new chapters and edits
An EPUB or PDF is not connected to the story on SIYE. It contains the version that was available when you downloaded it.
If the author adds chapters or edits the story, use WP Downloader to download it again. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. The new file will be another snapshot of the story, and you can keep either or both versions in your personal library.
