How to Back Up Phoenixsong.net Stories

Read the backup on a phone or tablet

Open or import the downloaded EPUB in an EPUB reader on your phone or tablet. Once you have saved the file, you can read it without connecting to Phoenixsong.net.

If you downloaded a PDF instead, open it in an app that supports PDF files.

Organize the story with calibre

Calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You can use it to manage a larger collection of downloaded stories.

To add your Phoenixsong.net backup:

1. Open calibre.
2. Select Add books.
3. Choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
4. Edit its metadata or cover if needed.
5. Open it in calibre’s e-book viewer to read it.

The viewer also has a Read aloud feature for listening to the saved story.

Calibre can convert an EPUB to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. This lets you create a format that WP Downloader does not offer directly.

Move the story to an e-reader

Calibre can send books to an e-reader connected to your computer over USB. Add the EPUB to your calibre library, connect the reader, and transfer the book through calibre.
