Add MuggleNet Fan Fiction Stories to calibre
To add a MuggleNet Fan Fiction story to calibre, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and import the file using calibre’s Add books button. You can then organize the story, change its metadata or cover, read it offline, convert it, or transfer it to a connected e-reader.
Download the MuggleNet story

Add the EPUB to calibre
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Open calibre and select Add books, then find the EPUB in your downloads folder and open it.
The story will appear in your calibre library. Select it from the book list to open it in calibre’s e-book viewer.
Repeat these steps for each MuggleNet story you want to add. Keeping the downloaded EPUB files in a clearly named folder can make them easier to find before importing them.
Organize the story
Once the story is in calibre, review its metadata. Metadata includes details such as the book’s title and author, which calibre uses to identify and arrange it.
You can edit the metadata and change the cover. If you collect stories from several archives, using the same format for details such as author names can make the library easier to browse.
Changes made in calibre affect the copy in your library. They do not alter the story on MuggleNet Fan Fiction.
Read or listen in calibre
You can read the imported EPUB offline in calibre’s e-book viewer on Windows, macOS, or Linux.
The viewer also has a Read aloud feature. Open the story in the viewer and start Read aloud to listen to it.
Convert the EPUB
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If your device or reading app needs another format, calibre can convert the EPUB.
Select the story in calibre, open the conversion options, and choose a format. calibre can convert EPUB files to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, and PDF.
You can keep the EPUB in your library and create another version for a particular device.
Transfer the story to an e-reader
Connect the e-reader to your computer with a USB cable. After calibre recognizes it, select the story and use the option to send the book to the device.

Get new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When a story is updated, return to the MuggleNet downloader and download the complete story again.
Add the new EPUB to calibre as the current copy. If you keep both versions, check their entries carefully because their metadata may be similar.
