How to Add Dreame Stories to Calibre
WP Downloader lets you save a Dreame story as an EPUB, which you can then add to calibre for reading, organizing, conversion, or transfer to an e-reader. Both tools are free. WP Downloader runs in your browser, while calibre is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Download the Dreame story with WP Downloader
Open the Dreame downloader. Dreame downloads do not require an account or any software installation.
Copy the story address from your browser. It should look like this:

You can include the story’s images if you want them in the book. PDF is also available, but it requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not produce MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If you need MOBI, AZW3, or PDF, you can convert the EPUB with calibre.
WP Downloader saves complete Dreame stories, not individual chapters or lists. It only downloads content that is already available to read. Locked or paid chapters are omitted unless your account can already read them.

Add the EPUB to your calibre library
Open calibre and select “Add books.” Find the EPUB from WP Downloader and add it to your library.
The story will appear with your other e-books. Select it to open it in calibre’s e-book viewer and check that you imported the right file.
You can use the viewer to read the story offline on your computer. It also has a Read aloud feature for listening to the story.
Edit the metadata and cover
Once the story is in your library, check its metadata. calibre lets you edit book information and covers.
Arrange the title and author information as you prefer. You can also replace or adjust the cover. Using consistent metadata can make stories easier to find when your library contains books from several fiction archives.

Convert the story for another device
Keep the story as an EPUB if your reading device or app supports it. Otherwise, use calibre to convert it to another format, including:
- AZW3
- MOBI
WP Downloader does not provide MOBI or AZW3 downloads, so you will need calibre to create either format.
You can keep the original EPUB in your calibre library after conversion. This leaves you with a source file if you want to make another version later.
Send the story to an e-reader over USB
Connect your e-reader to the computer with a USB cable. After calibre recognizes the device, select the Dreame story and use the option to send it to the device.
Choose a format supported by your e-reader. Convert the EPUB first if the device needs a different format.

Replace a story when new chapters appear
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When a Dreame story is updated, download the complete story again and add the new file to calibre.
The new download will not change the earlier EPUB automatically. Check the files in your library to identify the newest copy, then review its metadata before sending it to your reading device.
